PlayStation 5 Games: Some of the Best Games that Will Feature in PS5

PS5 Logo

In a little over 3 weeks from today, November 12 to be precise, Sony will launch the long-awaited PlayStation 5. Only true gamers will understand what this means; getting the console is closer now than ever before. But while it is true there is no particular app that is new or stands out, the PlayStation 5 games which are scheduled to come with it will blow your mind. Think God of War: Ragnarok and Demon’s Souls, and you can actually feel the excitement building up.

Below is a list of some of the games coming with the PS5 on launch day and after, which we believe will whet your appetite:

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

PlayStation 5 Games

Ratchet and Clank game has had 9 excellent games in its series and Rift Apart will be the 10th one. The series of games has been with Sony since way back in 2003, making it the face of Sony games.

It will not launch on the same day with the PlayStation 5 but it definitely will launch soon after, when the euphoria of PS5 launch is still high. So you know you don’t have to wait too long to get it if you are a fan of the game. So much to look forward to with PlayStation 5 games, eh?

What’s more, we have little or no doubt Rift Apart will be a great game because, well, we were not disappointed with the other 9 in the series, were we?

Final Fantasy 16

This is a major game in the whole Final Fantasy line of games. Knowing this should make you eager to play it if you are a true gamer. We know for certain that we want to play it.

The plot of the game centers on a Mothercrystal which keeps a region from getting affected by blight. And when two Eikon of fire, Phoenix and Ifrit, suddenly appear, worry and anxiety heighten because of what they stand for.

God of War: Ragnarok

Fact: we have only seen the logo of God of War: Ragnarok. But even without any logo or artwork, there are a few reasons to look forward to it.

One, the game is a follow-up to God of War of 2018, which was and is still one of the finest games of that generation and of PS4 specifically.

Two, the unfeeling slasher Kratos becomes a dad, giving a whole new feel and twist to the character and game.

Three, the exact same team produced it so you know it is something to look forward to. Plus, the trailer shows that it will launch in 2021.

Demon’s Souls

In the last decade or so, there has been an increase in the difficulty level of games on consoles. This has been chalked up to how successful FromSoftware’s Dark Souls game was. But it is important to know that Dark Souls built on the sophistication of FromSoftware’s Demon’s Souls. So you know what you are in for when you choose to play the game.

First launched way back in 2009, Demon’s Souls is remade to fit PS5 with a new difficulty level. If you have never had the opportunity to cross all the levels, then you can have another go at it. But if you have, there is another much more difficult level to keep you enthralled.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

PlayStation 5 Games

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a step up from the Spider-Man of 2017. In it, you get to carry a bag from which a little cat wearing a mask of Spider-Man suddenly jumps out and pounces on your foes. Let your imagination take care of the rest. No spoilers for you.

Horizon Forbidden West

The game is also a sequel, much like Ragnarok, to a superb game on PS4. But while we don’t have any teaser from Ragnarok, we have a bit to go on from Horizon Forbidden West.

We see Aloy, the main character, travelling long distances – through icy mountains, tropical lands and an underwater city. He is in search of a cure for a plague. The plague is killing everyone and everything in its path. So mankind needs a cure so as to remain in existence.

If you don’t mind playing a game that centers on a plague in a time like this, then you will find Horizon Forbidden West an amazing fit in PlayStation 5 games.
